USCIS Unveils E-Verify NextGen as “Coming Soon”

E-Verify NextGen is on its way. Learn more about how it will differ from the current E-Verify process, who will most benefit, and how soon we may be seeing it.

News on E-Verify NextGen has been hotly anticipated. Excitement for it has been stoked by a recent announcement by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) that it is “Coming Soon”.

This announcement, along with a very limited demonstration and other materials that E-Verify has released about NextGen, proclaims that it will aim to streamline the Form I-9 and verification process. By putting the employee more in the driver’s seat by submitting their own information to the E-Verify system and largely taking the employer out of the process, E-Verify NextGen proposes that it will help improve efficiency, reduce data entry errors, and reduce the burden on employers.

Watch our video to learn more about how E-Verify NextGen might differ from the current E-Verify process, who we believe may benefit the most from it, and when we might  expect to see the upcoming platform.
